Issue: On certain vehicles, the brackets that attach the rear entertainment screens to the front seatbacks may not have been installed correctly. As a result, a screen could separate in a crash. Safety Risk: An entertainment screen that separates in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the brackets for the rear entertainment screens. If a bracket isn't installed correctly, it will be replaced.
Issue: On certain vehicles, the owner's manual doesn't properly describe how the passenger-front airbag works when the "Passenger Airbag On" light is on. This could cause you to misunderstand how the passenger airbag works. Safety Risk: Incorrect information about how the airbag system works could cause confusion, and create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Bentley will send each owner a sticker to update the owner's manual with the correct description for how the passenger airbag works. They will also provide you with instructions for where to put it. If you would like help installing the label, a Bentley dealer will install it for you.
Issue: On certain vehicles, the top view rear camera holder does not have a drain. Over time, this could allow moisture to become trapped in the top-view rear camera holder, which could block the camera's view. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display properly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install a drain in the top-view rear camera holder.
Certain vehicles may have a loose electrical connection at the firewall junction. Under certain conditions, this connection could overheat, which would increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the original nut securing the connection with a new lock nut.
